The HOSRH-2002 is a standard Grade R twin welding hose designed specifically for oxygen and acetylene gas service. This hose assembly features a 3/16-inch inner diameter (ID), which is smaller than the standard 1/4-inch industrial hose, providing enhanced flexibility for light-to-medium duty applications. The hose is constructed to meet industry standards for Grade R classification, meaning the fuel gas line (Red) is compatible with acetylene but is not oil-resistant and not suitable for use with LP gases such as propane or propylene.

The assembly comes in a 25-foot length, a standard reach for stationary bench work or portable cylinder carts. The exterior cover is color-coded for safety compliance: Green for the oxygen line and Red for the fuel gas line. This visual distinction aids in preventing cross-connection accidents during setup. The hose is reinforced to withstand working pressures typically rated up to 200 PSI, ensuring safe operation under normal regulation parameters.

Operators should note that Grade R hoses have a non-oil-resistant tube and cover. If the environment involves heavy exposure to oil, grease, or if alternative fuels like propane are required, a Grade T hose would be the necessary alternative. However, for dedicated oxy-acetylene setups, this Grade R hose offers a reliable and economical solution for gas delivery.

Specifications
