The ESAB V-24 Oxygen Lance Valve (SKU: 06X78) is a premier industrial control device engineered specifically for the rigorous demands of thermal lancing. In environments such as steel mills, foundries, and heavy demolition sites, equipment reliability is paramount. The V-24 is constructed from high-grade brass and bronze, materials selected for their resistance to thermal stress and mechanical impact. This valve serves as the critical interface between the oxygen supply and the lance pipe, regulating the high-volume oxygen flow required to sustain the exothermic reaction at the lance tip.

Technically, the V-24 is designed to handle high flow rates with minimal pressure drop, ensuring that the lance operates at peak efficiency whether cutting through ferrous metals, non-ferrous spills, or refractory materials. The valve mechanism is lever-operated, providing a ‘deadman’ style safety function where flow ceases immediately upon release, although it is designed for comfortable sustained engagement by the operator. The internal seating is robust, designed to resist the wear and tear of frequent cycling and the potential ingress of particulate matter common in dirty environments.
