The ESAB Gouging Nozzle (0558007681) is a critical consumable designed for heavy-duty plasma gouging applications. Engineered specifically for the PT-38 plasma torch, this nozzle is rated for 90 Amps, making it an ideal choice for aggressive material removal and weld preparation. When paired with the robust PowerCut 1300 or PowerCut 1600 plasma cutting systems, this nozzle delivers a focused and stable arc necessary for consistent gouging results.

Plasma gouging is a cleaner, quieter, and often more efficient alternative to carbon arc gouging. To achieve the best results, using the correct nozzle is paramount. This ESAB gouging nozzle features a specialized orifice geometry that shapes the plasma stream to wash away molten metal effectively rather than severing it. This design allows operators to remove defects, prepare edges for welding, or remove old welds with precision and control. The 90A rating ensures that the nozzle can handle the high thermal loads associated with sustained gouging operations without premature failure.

Genuine ESAB consumables are manufactured to tight tolerances, ensuring perfect alignment within the torch head. This alignment is crucial for maintaining proper gas flow and cooling, which directly impacts the life of both the nozzle and the electrode. Using non-OEM parts can lead to arc instability, irregular gouge profiles, and potential damage to the torch body. By choosing the authentic 0558007681 nozzle, you ensure that your PowerCut system operates at peak efficiency.
