The ESAB 0558006908 Nozzle is a critical consumable designed specifically for the PT-36 plasma cutting torch. Featuring a precise 0.8mm (.030″) orifice, this nozzle is engineered to constrict the plasma arc, delivering high energy density for clean, accurate cuts on thinner gauge materials. When precision is paramount, using the correct nozzle size is essential to reducing kerf width and minimizing heat-affected zones.

Manufactured to ESAB’s exacting standards, these nozzles are built from high-quality copper alloys that withstand the intense heat of the plasma arc while maintaining their structural integrity. The 0.8mm size is typically utilized for lower amperage applications where detail and finish are critical. A worn nozzle can lead to a wandering arc, excessive dross, and poor cut angularity; replacing your nozzle regularly ensures your PT-36 system operates at peak efficiency.
