The ESAB PT-36R Mechanized Plasma Torch (SKU: 0558006817) is a premier cutting tool designed specifically for high-performance automated environments. Engineered to integrate seamlessly with ESAB’s m3 Plasma™ systems, this torch represents the pinnacle of heavy-duty plasma cutting technology. With a 25-foot (7.6 meter) lead assembly, it provides the necessary reach for large gantry systems and cutting tables while maintaining optimal conductivity and signal integrity.

At the core of the PT-36R is its advanced water-cooling system. Unlike air-cooled models that may overheat during prolonged use, the PT-36R is rated for a 100% duty cycle at amperages up to 360A. This capability allows fabrication shops and industrial manufacturers to run continuous cutting operations without pausing for torch cooling, significantly boosting throughput and efficiency. The torch is compatible with a wide range of plasma gases, including Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Argon/Hydrogen mixes, allowing for versatile cutting procedures across mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum substrates.
