The ESAB Consumable Set A (SKU: 0558005201) is a specialized spare parts kit engineered specifically for the PT-35 plasma cutting torch. Designed to support 50-amp cutting operations, this set ensures that industrial operators and fabricators have immediate access to the critical wear components required to maintain their equipment’s peak performance. Using genuine ESAB consumables is essential for preserving the integrity of the plasma arc, ensuring that every cut meets the manufacturer’s specifications for speed, kerf width, and edge quality.

Plasma cutting at 50 amps requires consumables that can withstand significant thermal stress while focusing the plasma stream effectively. The components in this set are manufactured from high-grade copper and hafnium materials, designed to resist erosion and extend the service life of the torch. By replacing worn nozzles and electrodes with these OEM parts, users can prevent common issues such as double-arcing, beveling, and excessive dross buildup. This kit is particularly valuable for maintenance and repair operations (MRO) where equipment reliability is paramount.

Regular maintenance of the plasma torch head is critical for safety and efficiency. The PT-35 torch relies on the precise alignment of the electrode, swirl ring, and nozzle to generate a stable pilot arc and cutting arc. This “Set A” provides a curated selection of these components, allowing for a complete front-end overhaul when necessary. It is highly recommended to replace the electrode and nozzle simultaneously to ensure even wear patterns and consistent gas flow dynamics. This kit simplifies that process by bundling the necessary parts in a single package.
