The ESAB 0558002533 Baffle is a critical consumable component designed for use with the PT-15, PT-19, PT-600, and PT-36 series plasma torches. This specific baffle features a “4H x .032” configuration, indicating it is engineered with four precision holes of 0.032-inch diameter to strictly regulate gas flow within the torch head. Proper gas distribution is essential for creating the vortex necessary to constrict the plasma arc, resulting in cleaner cuts and longer consumable life.

As a genuine ESAB product manufactured in the United States, this baffle guarantees compatibility and performance that aftermarket alternatives cannot match. Using OEM parts protects your equipment investment by ensuring that thermal dynamics and gas fluid mechanics operate exactly as the engineers intended. Mismatched or poorly manufactured baffles can lead to irregular arcs, excessive dross, and premature failure of the electrode or nozzle.

This product is supplied as a package of 5, making it an ideal stock item for fabrication shops and industrial maintenance departments. Keeping fresh baffles on hand ensures that downtime is minimized during routine maintenance intervals. Whether you are operating an automated cutting table with a PT-600 or a manual setup with a PT-36, this baffle is the correct specification for restoring your system’s capabilities.
