The Crossfire 252 Spool Gun is a premium accessory designed exclusively for the Crossfire 252 MIG welder. Engineered to tackle the specific challenges of welding aluminum, this spool gun places the wire spool directly on the torch, minimizing the distance the soft wire must travel. This design effectively eliminates the friction, buckling, and “bird-nesting” that frequently occur when attempting to push aluminum wire through standard 10-15 foot MIG torches. With this tool, users can achieve consistent, high-quality welds on aluminum grades such as 4043 and 5356.

One of the standout features of this model is its impressive 25-foot cable length. Standard spool guns often come with shorter leads, restricting the welder’s movement around large workpieces. The 25ft lead provided with this unit allows for exceptional mobility, making it ideal for working on large-scale projects such as aluminum boat hulls, transport trailers, and truck bodies. You can keep your power source stationary while moving freely around the job site.

Extended Reach and Mobility
