The Abicor Binzel 171.9006 Hose Clamp is a critical component for maintaining the integrity of your welding equipment’s fluid and gas delivery systems. Designed with a nominal diameter of 8.00mm, this clamp utilizes advanced stepless technology to provide a superior seal compared to traditional worm-drive or standard crimp clamps. In the demanding environment of industrial welding, even minor leaks in shielding gas lines can lead to weld porosity, oxidation, and costly rework. Similarly, leaks in coolant lines can cause catastrophic failure of liquid-cooled torches. This genuine Binzel part is engineered to eliminate those risks.

What sets the 171.9006 apart is its “stepless” design. Traditional ear clamps often leave a small gap or step on the inner circumference where the band overlaps. This step can pinch the hose or leave a channel for fluids to escape, especially under pressure or thermal cycling. The Binzel stepless clamp features a tongue-in-groove design that ensures the inner circumference is perfectly smooth and continuous over the full 360 degrees. This results in uniform radial compression, ensuring a tight seal without damaging the soft outer layer of rubber or PVC hoses.

This clamp is specifically sized for 8.00mm OD hoses, commonly found in MIG and TIG torch cable assemblies for carrying shielding gas (Argon, CO2, mixtures) and coolant water. Its low-profile geometry allows it to fit neatly inside ergonomic torch handles where space is at a premium. Manufactured from high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials, it withstands the harsh conditions of welding shops, including exposure to heat, sparks, and chemical fluids. Whether you are repairing a damaged cable assembly or performing routine maintenance on your Abicor Binzel torch, using the correct OEM clamp ensures your equipment performs at its peak efficiency.

The Stepless Advantage
