The Bernard L3B-15 Liner Assembly is a critical replacement component designed to maintain the performance integrity of professional MIG welding systems. Engineered for use with wire diameters between .035 inches and .045 inches, this liner is manufactured from high-carbon music wire. This material selection provides exceptional tensile strength and resistance to abrasion, significantly extending the service life of the consumable compared to standard mild steel liners. The manufacturing process ensures a consistent internal diameter and a tightly wound coil structure that resists gapping, even when the gun cable is subjected to tight bends or maneuvering in restricted spaces.

This liner features a standard length of 15 feet (4.57 meters), making it suitable for the majority of medium-reach MIG gun assemblies. It is designed as a universal conventional liner within the Bernard ecosystem, offering broad compatibility across multiple gun platforms. Specifically, the L3B-15 is fully compatible with the legacy Q-Gun, S-Gun, and T-Gun series, as well as the modern Best of the Best (BTB) Platform MIG guns. This cross-compatibility simplifies inventory management for facilities utilizing various generations of Bernard equipment.

Proper liner maintenance is essential for preventing wire feeding issues such as birdnesting, erratic arc starts, and contact tip burnback. The L3B-15 is designed for rear-loading installation, allowing for efficient replacement during routine maintenance intervals. The liner’s rigidity aids in smooth wire transmission, reducing friction and drag on the drive rolls, which preserves the longevity of the entire feeding system.

Bernard® Liner Assembly is colour coded by wire size and made with high carbon wire to increase length of use.
[2042,2044

post-1751744","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-mig-accessories","product_cat-mig-consumables","pa_brand-bernard-oem","pa_brand-bernard-oem-bernard-oem","pa_item-liner","pa_item-liner-liner","pa_length-15-ft-15-ft","pa_material-high-carbon-music-wire","pa_packaging-description-1-per-ea-1-per-ea","pa_packaging-description-1-per-each","pa_wire-size-0-035-0-045-0-035-0-045","first","onbackorder","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
