The Walter PROTEX EXTRA 55 Gallon Drum is a premium, bulk solution for high-volume industrial environments requiring effective and safe anti-spatter protection. Formulated by Walter Surface Technologies, PROTEX EXTRA represents the next generation of welding surface protection, utilizing a plant-based emulsion that is both biodegradable and highly effective. This product is designed to prevent hot welding spatter from adhering to workpieces, jigs, and fixtures, thereby significantly reducing the time and labor costs associated with post-weld cleanup operations such as grinding and chiseling.<\/p>\n
Unlike traditional solvent-based anti-spatter products, PROTEX EXTRA is silicone-free and solvent-free, making it an excellent choice for facilities prioritizing worker safety and environmental responsibility. It is non-flammable and emits no harmful fumes, ensuring a safer workspace. One of its key technical advantages is its compatibility with painting processes; the residue left by PROTEX EXTRA does not interfere with paint adhesion, allowing parts to be painted immediately after welding without the need for extensive degreasing or cleaning. This 208-liter drum is ideal for large-scale fabrication shops that utilize central distribution systems or frequently refill manual sprayers.<\/p>\n
