The Walter Slap Shot™ Aerosol (SKU: 53C502) represents a premier solution in the category of industrial cleaners and degreasers. Engineered for heavy-duty maintenance and repair operations, this 500ml aerosol unit delivers a highly effective, fast-evaporating solvent blend that dissolves grease, oil, and grime upon contact. Unlike many traditional solvents that rely on harsh chlorinated compounds, Slap Shot is formulated to be completely free of chlorinated solvents, making it a safer alternative for both the user and the environment while maintaining superior cleaning power.

One of the standout technical features of this product is its residue-free formulation. In precision engineering and surface preparation, the presence of residue can compromise subsequent processes such as painting, coating, or relubrication. Slap Shot evaporates rapidly and cleanly, ensuring that the substrate is left in pristine condition without the need for secondary rinsing or wiping. This characteristic significantly improves workflow efficiency in fast-paced industrial environments where downtime must be minimized.

The aerosol delivery system is designed to produce a strong jet, providing mechanical agitation that aids the chemical solvent in blasting away stubborn contaminants from hard-to-reach crevices and complex geometries. It is also formulated to penetrate and displace moisture, adding a layer of utility for equipment that may be exposed to damp conditions. Crucially, the formulation is safe for use on all metals, including sensitive alloys like aluminum, as well as galvanized steel, iron, non-ferrous metals, and stainless steel. This universality allows facilities to consolidate their chemical inventory, using a single product for a wide array of material types.

Compliance and safety are paramount in the design of Walter Surface Technologies’ chemical solutions. Slap Shot carries an NSF category K1 registration (Registration #154299), indicating its suitability for use in non-processing areas of food processing facilities. With a VOC content of 74.4% and a flash point of -60°C, it is a potent solvent designed for professional use where efficacy and speed are the primary requirements.

Highly effective, residue-free and fast evaporating cleaner/degreaser dissolves and removes grease, oil and grime on contact.
[2021,2026

post-1750986","product","type-product","status-publish","endorsed-aluminum-fab-shop","endorsed-autobody-shop","endorsed-carbon-steel-fab-shop","endorsed-construction-demolition-shop","endorsed-home-shop","endorsed-mechanical-contractor","endorsed-red-seal","endorsed-stainless-steel-fab-shop","endorsed-tool-die-shop","product_cat-chemicals","product_cat-cleaners-and-degreasers","pa_brand-walter","pa_format-spray","pa_item-cleaner","pa_item-degreaser","pa_packaging-description-1-per-each","pa_packaging-description-12-in-a-pack","pa_product-cleaner","pa_product-degreaser","first","onbackorder","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
