The Walter Coolcut™ Lubricant Stick (53B013) represents a pinnacle in solid-state lubrication technology, designed specifically to address the rigorous demands of metal cutting and machining operations where liquid coolants are impractical or undesirable. This 300-gram stick is formulated with advanced extreme pressure (EP) additives that activate under the heat and stress of machining, creating a robust barrier between the cutting tool and the workpiece. This barrier significantly reduces friction, thereby lowering operating temperatures and preventing the thermal degradation that often leads to premature tool failure.

One of the primary advantages of the Coolcut stick is its versatility and ease of use. Unlike flood coolants that require pumps, sumps, and containment systems, this solid lubricant can be applied directly to the cutting interface—whether it be a band saw blade, a drill bit, or a milling cutter. This localized application ensures that the lubrication is delivered exactly where it is needed most, without the mess associated with liquid oils. It is particularly effective for operations such as circular sawing, band sawing, drilling, reaming, and thread cutting, where maintaining a clean work environment is essential.

Safety and environmental responsibility are core components of the Coolcut formulation. The product is entirely free of solvents and chlorinated ingredients, making it a safer choice for operators and reducing the risk of skin irritation or respiratory issues associated with harsh chemicals. Furthermore, it is nontoxic and biodegradable, aligning with modern industrial standards for sustainability. This makes it an excellent choice for facilities aiming to reduce their environmental footprint without compromising on performance.

The Coolcut Lubricant Stick is engineered to be compatible with a wide range of materials. It performs exceptionally well on all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including challenging alloys like stainless steel, as well as softer metals like aluminum, brass, and copper. By preventing chip welding and galling, it ensures a superior surface finish on the final part, reducing the need for secondary finishing operations. Whether used in a high-production machine shop or a maintenance department, this lubricant stick is a critical tool for extending the life of expensive cutting tools and improving overall productivity.

Suitable for all ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Produces a better finish, solvent-free, contains no chlorine and extends cutting tool life.
[2021,2025

post-1750982","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-chemicals","product_cat-lubricants","pa_brand-walter","pa_format-stick","pa_packaging-description-1-per-each","pa_packaging-description-12-in-a-pack","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
