The Weiler 52003 Tiger Mounted Flap Wheel is engineered for high-performance grinding and finishing in industrial applications. Designed with a 1-inch diameter and a 1-inch face width, this abrasive tool is specifically constructed to access small openings, inner diameters (ID), and irregular contours that larger wheels cannot reach. The flaps are arranged radially around a solid central hub, providing a cushioned abrasive action that blends and finishes surfaces without gouging the workpiece.

Featuring premium Aluminum Oxide grain, this 60-grit wheel delivers a consistent cut rate and uniform finish. It is particularly effective for deburring machined parts, cleaning up weld splatter in tight corners, and blending tool marks. The 1/4-inch steel stem is permanently bonded to the core, ensuring safety and stability at speeds up to 30,000 RPM. This robust construction makes it suitable for use with pneumatic and electric die grinders commonly found in fabrication shops, foundries, and maintenance departments.

For procurement managers and MRO specialists, the Weiler Tiger line represents reliability and longevity. The cloth backing is designed to wear away cleanly, exposing fresh grain continuously until the wheel is depleted. This self-sharpening characteristic reduces downtime associated with frequent tool changes. Whether working on carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum, the 52003 provides the versatility and durability required for demanding production schedules.
