At Josef Gas, we understand that proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is the first line of defense in any industrial environment. These Shade 5 Green Safety Glasses are an essential safety tool for professionals engaged in oxy-fuel cutting, brazing, and soldering operations. Unlike standard clear safety glasses, the Shade 5 green lenses are specifically engineered to filter out the harmful infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) radiation generated during gas welding processes, preventing eye strain and potential long-term damage.

The glasses feature a classic “303” style frame, often referred to as “old school” for its no-nonsense, robust design. This frame style has been a staple in the industry for decades because of its durability and reliability. Constructed from high-impact polycarbonate, the lenses provide excellent protection against flying debris, sparks, and spatter that are common in metalworking shops. The material is lightweight yet incredibly tough, ensuring that the glasses can withstand the rigors of daily industrial use without weighing down the wearer.

Peripheral vision protection is just as critical as frontal protection. These glasses come equipped with integrated side shields that close the gap between the frame and the face, preventing particles from entering the eye area from the side. Whether you are working in a busy fabrication shop, a garage, or on a construction site, these glasses offer the secure fit and comprehensive coverage needed to work with confidence. They are an economical yet high-performance solution for maintaining safety compliance and protecting your most valuable asset—your vision.

Key Applications
