The Techniweld 177TE Wrap Around Pipe Measure is an essential instrument for pipe fitters, welders, and maintenance professionals requiring accuracy in pipe fabrication. Designed to withstand the rigorous conditions of industrial environments, this layout tool is manufactured from a specialized heat-resistant material. This composition ensures that the wrap maintains its structural integrity and dimensional accuracy even when in contact with pipes that have been pre-heated for welding or are located in high-temperature zones.

Measuring 4 inches in width and extending to a full 7 feet in length, this wrap provides substantial coverage for a variety of pipe diameters. The extra length is particularly advantageous for working with medium to large-bore piping systems often found in oil and gas, chemical processing, and heavy manufacturing facilities. The surface of the wrap features clearly printed scales and technical data, allowing operators to make quick calculations and measurements directly on the workpiece without referring to external charts.

Functionally, the Techniweld 177TE serves as a flexible straight edge. When wrapped around a cylinder, its edge aligns perfectly to guide soapstone or markers, creating a precise line for cutting or beveling. This eliminates the guesswork associated with manual marking and significantly reduces material waste caused by uneven cuts. Its resistance to common industrial chemicals such as oil and gasoline further extends its service life, making it a cost-effective addition to any MRO inventory.

[1974,1975

post-1750809","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-handtools","product_cat-tools-wrenches-power-tools","pa_application-angle-measurement","pa_application-marking-straight-lines","pa_application-pipe-layout","pa_brand-generic","pa_brand-techniweld","pa_item-wrap-around","pa_length-7-ft","pa_material-heat-resistant-flexible-material","pa_packaging-description-1-per-each","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
