The Walter Enduro-Flex Flap Disc (SKU: 15Q454) is a premium abrasive tool engineered specifically for the challenges of grinding and finishing aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Standard abrasives often fail when working with soft metals due to “loading” or clogging, where the metal adheres to the abrasive grain, rendering the disc useless long before it is worn out. This Enduro-Flex disc features a specialized coating and grain structure that resists loading, ensuring cool cutting action and sustained high removal rates throughout the product’s life.

A standout feature of the Enduro-Flex series is the patented Eco-Trim backing. This innovative design allows the operator to trim the plastic backing pad as the abrasive flaps wear down. By exposing fresh abrasive material that would otherwise be discarded, the Eco-Trim system can extend the usable life of the disc by up to three times compared to conventional flap discs. This translates to significant cost savings and reduced waste in high-production industrial environments.

Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, this 40-grit disc is ideal for rapid stock removal, weld blending, and surface preparation. The 4-1/2″ diameter and 7/8″ arbor ensure compatibility with standard angle grinders. Its vibration-free performance reduces operator fatigue, making it a preferred choice for MRO professionals and fabrication shops demanding efficiency and quality.

Whether you work on stainless steel, aluminum or any copper alloy the ENDURO-FLEX Stainless flap discs will replace grinding wheels and sanding discs and provide exceptional cost savings, higher productivity and a more consistent surface finish.

Made from natural and sustainable plant fibers, the ECO-TRIM backing can easily be trimmed for higher productivity, maximum operator safety and comfort as well as protect our environment.
[2000,2002

post-1750779","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-abrasives","product_cat-flap-disc","pa_arbor-in-7-8","pa_bore-in-5-8","pa_brand-walter","pa_diameter-in-4-5","pa_grit-676","pa_packaging-description-10-per-pack","pa_used-to-grind-aluminum","first","onbackorder","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
