The Walter Coolcut 15C510 Sanding Disc is a premium abrasive solution designed for professionals who demand consistency and efficiency in their metalworking operations. Sized at 5 inches with a standard 7/8-inch arbor, this disc is engineered to fit seamlessly onto most industrial angle grinders equipped with a backing pad. The 100 grit composition makes it an excellent choice for the finer stages of surface preparation, offering a balance between material removal and surface finish quality. Whether you are cleaning up light welds, removing rust, or preparing a steel surface for painting, the Coolcut series delivers reliable performance pack after pack.

One of the standout features of the Walter Coolcut line is its ability to manage heat generation. Friction during sanding can often lead to heat buildup, which not only degrades the abrasive grains faster but can also cause thermal damage to the workpiece, such as blueing or warping. These discs are formulated with special active fillers and cooling agents that help dissipate heat, ensuring a cooler cut. This technology extends the life of the disc and ensures that the integrity of the metal surface is maintained throughout the sanding process. This makes the 15C510 particularly effective for extended sanding sessions where heat management is critical.

Sold in a convenient pack of 25, these resin fibre discs offer exceptional value for high-volume workshops. The backing is constructed from robust fibre material that resists tearing and maintains its shape under pressure, allowing operators to apply the necessary force to get the job done without premature failure. The aluminum oxide grain is tough and self-sharpening to a degree, providing a steady cut rate until the abrasive is worn. For general-purpose applications on steel and other ferrous metals, the Walter Coolcut 100 Grit disc is a cost-effective workhorse that doesn’t compromise on quality.

[2000,2006

post-1750766","product","type-product","status-publish","endorsed-autobody-shop","endorsed-carbon-steel-fab-shop","endorsed-home-shop","endorsed-mechanical-contractor","endorsed-red-seal","endorsed-stainless-steel-fab-shop","product_cat-abrasives","product_cat-sand-and-blend-discs","pa_arbor-in-7-8-7-8","pa_brand-walter","pa_brand-walter-walter","pa_diameter-in-5-5","pa_grit-894","pa_grit-100-100","pa_packaging-description-25-in-a-pack","pa_packaging-description-25-per-each-25-per-each","pa_size-in-834","pa_used-to-sand-steel-steel","pa_used-to-sand-steel-or-stainless-or-aluminum","first","onbackorder","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
