The Walter 13H604 6-inch Saucer-Cup Brush represents a significant evolution in industrial wire brushing. Designed specifically for the rigorous demands of metal fabrication and maintenance, this tool features a unique saucer shape that sets it apart from traditional cup brushes. While standard cup brushes are limited to flat surfaces, the Walter Saucer-Cup allows the operator to work at a comfortable 45-degree angle. This ergonomic advantage makes it the premier choice for cleaning fillet welds, corners, and other irregular surfaces where standard brushes fail to reach effectively.

Engineered with Walter’s commitment to quality, this brush is constructed using top-tier, oil-hardened carbon steel wire. The .020-inch wire gauge is twisted into tight knots, providing an aggressive cutting action that strips away heavy slag, rust, scale, and paint with ease. The knotted design ensures that the wires remain rigid under load, delivering consistent impact energy to the workpiece without flaring out prematurely. This results in a longer service life and a more consistent finish over the life of the brush.

Safety and comfort are paramount in the design of the 13H604. Each brush is meticulously balanced to run smoothly on handheld angle grinders, significantly reducing vibration. Lower vibration levels not only protect the operator from fatigue and long-term injury (such as white finger syndrome) but also protect the power tool’s bearings from excessive wear. The integrated 5/8″-11 threaded arbor ensures a secure, spin-on attachment that eliminates the need for locking nuts, streamlining tool changes in busy industrial environments.

Whether you are preparing surfaces for welding, removing spatter after a job, or deburring heavy steel components, the Walter 13H604 delivers the performance professionals trust. It is an essential accessory for any fabrication shop dealing with structural steel, tank manufacturing, or heavy equipment repair.

Advantages of both wire cup and wire wheel brushes, they feature a unique saucer cup shape which allows them to work in hard to reach areas.
[2000,2008

post-1750749","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-abrasives","product_cat-cup-wheel-and-cup-brushes","pa_arbor-in-5-8","pa_brand-walter","pa_diameter-in-523","pa_packaging-description-1-in-a-pack","pa_packaging-description-1-per-each","pa_used-to-grind-steel","pa_used-to-grind-steel-or-stainless","pa_wheel-style-twist-knot","first","onbackorder","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
