The Walter 13G554 Knot Twist Cup Brush is a premium abrasive tool designed for the most demanding surface cleaning applications. Engineered by Walter Surface Technologies, this 5-inch cup brush features robust knot-twisted bristles made from high-quality, oil-hardened, and tempered carbon steel wire. The .020-inch wire diameter ensures aggressive cutting action, making it the tool of choice for removing heavy encrustations, slag, rust, and paint from large steel surfaces.

What sets this model apart is its integrated safety support ring. This metal ring surrounds the wire knots, preventing them from flaring out prematurely under centrifugal force and pressure. As the wire wears down, the ring maintains a tight brush face, ensuring consistent aggression and significantly extending the usable life of the tool. Once the wire wears down to the ring, the ring can often be removed to expose the remaining wire length, maximizing value.

Designed for balance and safety, every Walter cup brush is individually balanced to run smoothly on angle grinders. This reduces vibration, protecting both the power tool’s bearings and the operator’s hands from fatigue during long shifts. The 5/8″-11 threaded arbor ensures a secure and quick attachment to most standard North American angle grinders. Whether you are working in a shipyard, a fabrication shop, or on a pipeline, the 13G554 delivers the reliability and performance professionals expect from Walter.

Key Technical Benefits
