The Walter 13G304 Knot Twist Cup Brush is a premium abrasive tool designed for the most demanding industrial cleaning applications. Engineered by Walter Surface Technologies, this 3-inch cup brush features high-grade .020″ carbon steel wire, twisted into tight knots to deliver aggressive brushing action. It is specifically formulated for use on steel surfaces, making it an essential tool for metal fabrication shops, shipyards, and construction sites where surface preparation is critical.

One of the standout features of this model is the integrated safety support ring. In standard wire brushes, the centrifugal force of the angle grinder can cause wires to flare out prematurely, reducing the effective cleaning area and leading to wire fatigue. The support ring on the 13G304 constrains the wires, maintaining a tight, aggressive cutting angle for a longer period. As the brush wears down, the ring ensures that the wire tips remain focused on the workpiece, providing consistent performance throughout the life of the tool. This design not only extends the service life of the brush but also enhances safety by reducing the likelihood of wire breakage.

Balance is another key attribute of Walter abrasives. This cup brush is precision-balanced to run smoothly on angle grinders, minimizing vibration. Reduced vibration protects the power tool’s bearings and significantly lowers operator fatigue during extended use. Whether you are removing heavy slag, thick rust, or stubborn paint, the Walter 13G304 delivers the power and durability needed to get the job done efficiently. It mounts easily to standard grinders with a 5/8″-11 arbor, offering a secure and reliable connection for high-speed operation.

Industrial professionals choose the Walter 13G304 for its reliability and cost-effectiveness. The oil-hardened and tempered wire resists wear better than standard consumer-grade brushes, meaning fewer tool changes and less downtime. For large surface areas requiring aggressive material removal, this knot-twisted cup brush is the superior choice.

For use with Angle Grinders – these are knot-twisted with a safety supporting ring for heavy duty brushing such as deburring, weld edge cleaning, spatter, heavy rust, corrosion and removal of scale.
[2000,2008

post-1750742","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-abrasives","product_cat-cup-wheel-and-cup-brushes","pa_arbor-in-5-8","pa_brand-walter","pa_brush-type-cup-brush-with-safety-ring","pa_diameter-in-873","pa_diameter-in-3-2","pa_packaging-description-1-in-a-pack","pa_packaging-description-1-per-each","pa_used-to-grind-steel","pa_wheel-style-twist-knot","first","onbackorder","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
