The Walter Surface Technologies 2-3/4″ Mounted Wire Brush (SKU: 13C130) is engineered for industrial professionals who demand reliability and performance in surface preparation. Designed with a knot-twisted wire configuration, this brush provides aggressive cleaning action suitable for removing heavy rust, scale, paint, and weld spatter from steel surfaces. Unlike crimped wire brushes which are better suited for light surface finishing, the knot-twisted design delivers the impact necessary to break through stubborn contaminants effectively.

One of the standout features of Walter wire brushes is their internal balance. Each brush is manufactured to strict tolerances to ensure it runs smoothly on high-speed tools like die grinders. This perfect balance significantly reduces vibration, which not only protects the bearings of your power tools but also reduces operator fatigue during extended use. In a fabrication shop environment, where precision and safety are paramount, the stability of the 13C130 allows for controlled cleaning in tight spaces, corners, and contours without the “jumping” associated with unbalanced alternatives.

Constructed with top-quality carbon steel wire, this mounted brush offers exceptional lifespan and resistance to wire fatigue. The wires are securely anchored to prevent premature breakage, enhancing safety by minimizing the risk of flying filaments. Whether you are prepping a surface for coating, cleaning out the inside of a pipe, or deburring a machined part, this tool delivers consistent results. It features a standard 1/4″ shaft, making it universally compatible with most industrial die grinders and power drills.
