The Bonarc 70S-6 is a premium mild steel solid wire designed for the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process. Conforming to AWS A5.18 ER70S-6 standards, this wire is engineered for general purpose fabrication where consistent mechanical properties and weld quality are paramount. The wire features a diameter of 0.035 inches (0.9mm), making it a versatile choice for welding material thicknesses ranging from 22 gauge up to 1/2 inch with appropriate multi-pass techniques.

One of the defining technical characteristics of this product is its elevated levels of silicon and manganese. These deoxidizers act as scavenging agents within the molten weld pool, effectively reacting with oxygen and other impurities to float them to the surface as slag.
