The Josef C32 is a premium-grade Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) electrode specifically engineered for the repair and maintenance of cast iron components. With a diameter of 2.5mm, this electrode is optimized for precision work on thinner sections or for the initial pass on thicker joints where heat input must be strictly controlled. The electrode features a specialized core wire and coating formulation—typically a Nickel-Iron (NiFe) or high-Nickel composition—designed to produce a soft, ductile weld deposit that fuses effectively with grey cast iron, malleable iron, and nodular (ductile) iron.
