The Bonarc ER309L .035" MIG Wire is a high-grade austenitic stainless steel filler metal designed specifically for the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process. Manufactured to meet strict AWS A5.9 specifications, this wire features a nominal composition of 24% Chromium and 13% Nickel. The "L" designation indicates a low carbon content (maximum 0.03%), which significantly reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion and carbide precipitation during the welding process, ensuring the longevity and integrity of the weldment in corrosive environments.

This consumable is engineered primarily for joining dissimilar metals, such as welding Type 304 stainless steel to carbon steel or low-alloy steels.
