The Weldcraft 13N22L is a specialized TIG welding collet designed for use with large diameter gas lens configurations. Engineered to fit 9, 20, and 25 series TIG torches, this collet is a critical component for welders seeking superior shielding gas coverage and arc stability. Unlike standard collets, the 13N22L is specifically dimensioned to work within the larger gas lens collet bodies, ensuring a precise fit and optimal electrical contact with 1/16-inch (1.6mm) tungsten electrodes.

Manufactured from high-grade copper alloy, this genuine Weldcraft part offers excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, reducing heat buildup in the torch head and prolonging the life of your consumables. The collet functions by gripping the tungsten electrode securely when the back cap is tightened, preventing slippage during welding operations. Its design is integral to the gas lens system, which smooths out the flow of shielding gas into a laminar stream. This laminar flow is far more resistant to cross-drafts and atmospheric contamination than the turbulent flow from standard nozzles.
