Engineered for use with 3/32-inch (2.4mm) tungsten electrodes, this kit replaces standard collet bodies and ceramic cups with a high-performance screen diffuser and a high-temperature Pyrex glass nozzle.

The core of the system is the Gas Saver screen adapter, which utilizes a micro-mesh screen to create a coherent, laminar gas column. This laminar flow significantly reduces atmospheric contamination and turbulence, allowing for a more stable arc and improved weld quality on sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium. The improved column stiffness permits a tungsten stick-out of up to six times the electrode diameter, facilitating access to difficult-to-reach joints without compromising gas shielding.
