The Tweco® Self Insulated Copper Nozzle is designed for use with up to 180 A Tweco® Mini-MIG-Gun® MIG guns and a standard gas diffuser. It has a 1/2" bore size and a 2.068" nozzle with a 3/4" OD, making it ideal for light to medium duty welding applications. The part number is rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification.

Made of 122 DHP copper alloy, this nozzle features M11-1.5-6H threads size and a flush contact tip relationship of 0.062". It has a 3-piece design consisting of a copper alloy tubing nozzle housing, a solid brass nozzle insert, and a silicone material nozzle insulator. The nozzle insert allows for easy machining of internal threads to match the gas diffuser.

This nozzle provides the required electrical insulation from the gas diffuser using the nozzle insulator. It is sold as a pack of 2. The 3-piece design eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The nozzle threads onto the gas diffuser securely.

With recessed, flush, and protruding tip options, this nozzle is versatile for various welding scenarios. Recessed tips are suitable for higher heat applications and when the nozzle may come into contact with the work piece. Flush tips are used for shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are useful for welding tight weld joints or open root pipes, although there is a risk of arcing to the work piece, potentially causing damage and downtime for replacement.
