The Bernard NS-1200B is a high-performance MIG welding nozzle designed specifically for the Centerfire™ consumable system. Engineered for professional industrial applications, this nozzle features a 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) bore orifice and a flush tip relationship. The flush tip configuration is widely regarded as a versatile standard for general fabrication, offering a balance between gas coverage and contact tip accessibility. It allows the welder to maintain a proper stick-out while keeping the arc visible, making it suitable for both short-circuit and spray transfer modes in various positions.

Constructed from durable brass, the NS-1200B is built to withstand the high thermal stresses associated with continuous MIG welding. Brass is chosen for its excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to spatter adhesion compared to standard copper nozzles in certain applications. A key technical feature of the Centerfire nozzle design is the integrated spatter shield. This internal component serves two critical functions: it acts as a barrier to prevent molten spatter from reaching and clogging the gas diffuser, and it helps laminarize the shielding gas flow.
