OVERVIEW

Premium Aluminum Feeding Solution

The American Weldquip 75015324T-J Liner Assembly is a specialized consumable designed to master the challenges of feeding soft welding wires, particularly aluminum. Standard steel liners can shave aluminum wire, causing clogging and erratic feeding, while standard nylon liners often melt under the intense heat of the torch neck. This hybrid liner assembly solves both problems simultaneously.

Hybrid Nylon & Bronze Construction

The main body of the liner is constructed from high-quality Nylon, providing a smooth, low-friction path that allows .035" to .045" aluminum wire to glide effortlessly through the 15-foot cable. This reduces drag on the drive rolls and prevents the "birdnesting" often associated with pushing soft wires.

Heat-Resistant Jumper

What sets this liner apart is the integrated 12-inch Bronze Jumper located at the front end. In the neck of the MIG gun, temperatures can exceed the melting point of standard polymers. The bronze section withstands this extreme heat, ensuring the liner maintains its structural integrity right up to the contact tip/diffuser area. This design significantly extends the lifespan of the liner and reduces downtime caused by melted liner tips.

Compatibility & Performance

Designed specifically for American Weldquip MIG guns, this liner ensures a precise fit and optimal gas sealing. It is an essential upgrade for any welder fabricating aluminum structures, automotive components, or marine vessels using American Weldquip torches.

FAQ

The 12-inch bronze jumper is designed to withstand the high heat generated at the torch neck (gooseneck), preventing the nylon material from melting or deforming during welding.

It is not recommended. Nylon liners are designed for soft wires like aluminum. Hard steel wires can quickly wear through the soft nylon material, leading to premature failure.

This liner is sized for wire diameters between .035" and .045".

The total length of the liner assembly is 15 feet, suitable for standard 15ft MIG guns.

Yes, this is a genuine American Weldquip replacement part.

Like most MIG liners, it may need to be trimmed to the exact length of your specific gun cable and stick-out requirement during installation.

Using a steel liner for aluminum often causes the rough steel coils to shave the soft aluminum wire, creating debris that clogs the liner and causes feeding issues.
