The Tweco® 14 Series Standard Duty Brass Gas Diffuser is designed for easy identification with the part number rolled stamped on the outside surface. It is made from 360 brass alloy bar stock, ensuring consistent dimensional stability. This gas diffuser is specifically built to be used with slip-on nozzle assemblies. It features machined threads on the outside surface, allowing the nozzle insulator to thread over and hold the slip-on nozzle securely in place during the welding process. Additionally, it contains a conduit set screw that effectively holds the conduit liner in place.

Please note that different types of tips are available for various applications. Recessed Tips are typically used for higher heat applications and longer electrical stick-out, while Flush Tips are preferred for shorter electrical stick-out and closer arc lengths to the work piece. Protruding Tips are ideal for welding tight joints, although there is a risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, potentially damaging the front end parts and requiring replacement.
