The Aquasol EZ Zone Tape (SKU: EZ-ZT4.0) is a specialized aluminum foil tape designed for the rigorous demands of industrial pipe welding and fabrication. Engineered to act as a purge gas retainer, this tape is an essential consumable for welders working with reactive metals such as stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum. The tape is constructed from a 3 mil (75 micron) soft aluminum foil which provides excellent conformability to irregular surfaces and pipe circumferences, ensuring a hermetic seal that prevents oxygen contamination during the root pass.

A critical feature of the EZ Zone tape is its adhesive formulation. It utilizes a high-temperature resistant acrylic adhesive that is certified halogen-free and chlorofluorocarbon-free.
