The Walter 01H028 7/16" SST Stub Drill is engineered for industrial environments where precision, durability, and space constraints are critical factors. Distinguished by its "stub" or screw machine length, this drill bit offers significantly higher torsional rigidity compared to standard jobber length bits. This increased stiffness minimizes deflection and vibration, resulting in cleaner, more accurate holes and a drastically reduced risk of breakage, even under aggressive feed rates.

At the tip, the drill features a sophisticated 135° split point geometry. Unlike standard 118° points, this design is self-centering, allowing the operator to start drilling immediately without the need for a center punch or pilot hole.
