01M553 - Walter SST+ 53/64" Cobalt Prentice Drill Bit with 1/2" Shank

The SST+ ½” Prentice drill bits are designed for heavy-duty drilling tasks. They are compatible with portable drills, drill presses, and magnetic base drills with ½” chuck capacity. These drill bits feature extra hard tips, resulting in increased durability and the ability to drill more holes before needing to be sharpened. Made with a cobalt blend, they have a longer lifespan compared to other drill bits. The shank is designed with three flats to prevent slipping inside the chuck, ensuring stability during drilling. With their exclusive point geometry, pre-drilling is eliminated, making the drilling process faster and more efficient. Additionally, these drill bits are treated with a special bronze SST surface treatment.
