Positioning and Centering: Before the cut begins, the 48K604 acts as a dead center. The operator aligns the tip of the pin with the center punch mark on the workpiece. This ensures that the annular cutter is perfectly positioned before the magnet is engaged and the motor is started, preventing "walking" and ensuring hole accuracy.
